The Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA) was created in 1969 and honor Frances Tompkins, the first executive director of the National Student Nurses' Association.
Organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, the Foundation awards scholarships to qualified nursing students annually. Over $4.3 million dollars in scholarships to undergraduate nursing students, and over $723,000 in Promise of Nursing Scholarships have been awarded.
The Foundation is organized as a 501 (C) (3) charitable foundation. Contributions to the FNSNA are tax-deductible.
